What is it?
-It is a new system that requires you to basically enter creditcard details to 'verify' your account. This allows you to then join a clan, have a friends and ignore list, enter ranked rooms and have a rank!

Why?
-Well, there is no official answer to this but it is likely due to many reasons. For example: Preventing cheats, stopping people having lots of accounts, trying to keep people in a clan for long enough, removing those who want to spoil the game for others from ranked rooms!

How do I verify my account?
-You will need a Creditcard (i.e: Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Log onto SOCOM3, go to the 'community' part from the SOCOM 3 main menu and then go to the 'Personal' link. Click 'verify account' and follow the on-screen instructions!

Does this cost me?
-NO! This is only to VERIFY your details, they do not charge your card at all. Anyone saying they have been charged are mistaken.

Do I need to verify my account?
-No, but if you want the benefits of a verified account (clans, friends and ignore list, ranked rooms and a rank) then you will need a verified account.

Do I need a verified account to JOIN a clan?
-Yes

I don't have a creditcard?
-You can use pre-paid visa cards which are available in most countries now. You could also borrow a parents card, make sure they know it wont cost them a penny.

Will PAL players have to verify their account?
-No official comment has been given, but on one hand it is possible that we will not have to because we have CENTRAL STATION, while on another hand it's a central part of SOCOM 3 - so would require a lot of work to remove it.
