SOCOMGUIDE.com has been created by a EUROPEAN SOCOM player, Spark911.

The website was setup to provide the best socom resource around. Having seen a long time between the release of the US and PAL version of SOCOM, this website was setup to provide those users who have not yet played SOCOM 3 with a great guide to help them lean the maps and get playing.

Various other fans have helped by pointing out errors and other things that Spark911 was not able to find himself, so thank you to them. These people are listed on the CREDITS page.

This website will hopefully prove useful, and popular, with SOCOM players from around the world.

SOCOM3 Guide:
[HDD]
SOCOM 3 supports new HDD maps which can be downloaded to a hard drive or a USB pen drive. News, FAQs, screenshots and specific information on modes and spawn points can be found by using the links under the 'SOCOM 3 HDD' header.

[SOCOM3: Offline]
Each offline mission is split into the following sections:
1) Introduction - This provides you with information about the mission including intel, background and other things you see on your PS2 screen. This also links you to the bonus objectives and the walkthrough.
2) Weapon Setup - The following are weapon setups which are suggested, although not necessary in most cases - so you can deviate from the suggestions.
3) Walkthrough - This is the main walkthrough which will provide you with a step-by-step guide of what to do, which will cover all the objectives for the mission and explain them clearly with a colour coded format.
4) Bonuses - This section specifically outlines all the bonus objectives, and is useful to read before doing the mission so that you can see what to expect and what to look out for.
5) Help Forum - This will link you straight to the SOCOMGUIDE.COM forums, and more specifically to a forum which you can ask questions about this specific mission.

[SOCOM3: Online]
Each online mission is split into the following sections:
1) General Info - This provides you with a description of the online level, a list of all available modes, availability of vehicles, the characters available on each side, some screenshots and links to the other two sections.
2) Spawns - This is SOCOMGUIDE.COM's most valueable and useful asset. This section will provide you with three screenshots of every mode, for every side on every map! We know how hard it is to remember the spawn points, which is why we have formed this guide to help you look which spawn point is the one want. In addition, we provide a bird's eye view of the map with the spawn points marked on, so you can see where the enemy is.
3) Modes - This outlines every mode on this map, as well as explaining what each team has to do, the effect of a draw and what happens if a hostage is killed (if applicable).

As well as the information outlined above, we also have information on hits and tips, unlockables, modes, ranks, vehicles, weapons and verification.

SOCOM Fireteam Bravo Guide:

On the navigation on the left is a list of the online levels. Clicking one will take you to a page which lists: description of level, number of modes, characters on each side, what each team has to do, effect of draws, effect of hostage death (where it applies) and spawn screenshots!
